The Danish design team who created the Mermaids & Pirates collection are grown up children from Denmark, the fairytale land of Hans Christian Andersen.

They were inspired by the world renowned author who wrote the famous tale of the Little Mermaid in 1837.

Her statue is proudly presiding over the royal harbour of Copenhagen and has been visited by millions who come to pay tribute to H.C. Andersen’s role in their childhood fantasies.
